Chévere Catering is a Afro-Latino family owned busniess in Illinois. We serve family recipes with a delicious payoff. Our founder and chef, Jose Oyola, started Chévere catering in 2024 hoping to share his family recipes with people at their special events.

Jose Oyola

Jose is born and raised in Chicago, where he learned to cook from his mom. In 2024, he decided to begin sharing his mom’s recipes through catering weddings and small events. He is passionate about cooking and enjoys sharing his culture through these meals. Jose caters every event with the desire to make someone feel at home.
